Breaking News: Dillon’s Woe Deepens; COS Resigns!

Whistleblower has authoritatively gathered that the Chief of Staff to Senator Darius Dillon, Martin Saye Kollah has tendered his resignation.

The resignation letter dated August 18, 2021 is currently in the chatroom of the Senator and was leaked in the early hours of Wednesday.

Kollah is his letter said he has finished up his duty as staff to Sen. Dillon and will be stepping down by 31st August 2021 to focus on the politics of District 6, Montserrado County where he contested in the last election.

‘It has been my strong desire to represent the people of District 6, Montserrado County, my family and I have decided we will contest the representative seat 2023, therefore I will be resigning as Chief of Staff,’ he stated in his resignation letter.

Whistleblower has earlier reported that there was a rift between Senator Dillon and his COS over who to support in the CPP, leadership race as well as the Montserrado Dist 6 race of 2023.

While Dillon supports Boakai, his COS is an ardent supporter of Cummings which has created serious division within the office and the entire Liberty Party.

Besides the CPP support issue, Dillon has been supporting Journalist Patrick Honnah over his COS for the District 6 representative election, slated for 2023.

This, Martin Kollah sees as a complete betrayal given his sacrifices he named in his letter of resignation, for Dillon’s election.

Martin who is also the Secretary General of Liberty Party and Chairman Musa Bility are reportedly expected to collaborate while Senators Lawrence and Dillon are on the other side.

Kollah is expected to return to active Secretary General duties at LP HQ and according to reports will be duly paid by Chairman Bility as other executives.
