Cummings Woos Thousands At Liberty Party’s HQ

Cummings defied all odds to appear at Liberty Party’s Headquarters in Sinkor Wednesday wooing thousands of supporters.

A night before, controversial Liberty Party Political Leader Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence called on partisans of the party to stay away.

However, Chairman Musa Bility said an Executive Committee gathering authorized him to have the ANC leader appear at the party’s HQ.

As the tussle ensued many were worried about the possibility of the event or whether it would be marred by controversy leading to the regular political stone throwing and insults.

To the dismay of everyone, Cummings arrived Wednesday afternoon at the Roberts International Airport with an array of supporters leading him to Liberty Party’s HQ in what was a quiet, peaceful event.

Musa Bility maintained at the event Cummings have got no reason to even seek permission to visit the LP HQ and he was welcomed in good faith.

“This is your home (ANC), as member of the CPP, you don’t need any permission to come here, and anytime you want to have a program, you are welcome, that’s why we have the space to accommodate the CPP” Bility said.

Cummings revealed the lapses in the current political structure of the country and the continuous need for co-existence amongst opposition stakeholders.

Cummings is a fierce contender for the Standard Bearership of the Collaborating Political Parties against former Vice President Joseph Boakai.

The contestation has seen serious disagreements making it unlikely for the CPP to hold.
