Dead IAA boss reportedly fell from his 72nd upstairs home

A reported fall from the porch of his 72nd upstairs home of over 20 years led to the death of the Director General of the Internal Audit Agency-IAA, Emmanuel Barthan Nyeswa.

Mr. Nyneswah was reportedly working on an exclusive audit of the COVID19 funding process and had hinted a source that it would have shaken Monrovia when released.

At the famous D’Calabash last evening he was reportedly seen having fun with friends and allies before heading home. He is reported to have fallen around 2am.

The COVID19 report was expected next week following intense audit by the Internal Audit Agency.

The Communications Director of the IAA, Adolphus Kawah confirmed the death of Mr.Nyeswa Saturday morning to the press.

This is the fourth financial expert within the government circle that has fallen to death within days, making professionals of the sector to keep panicking.

Two auditors of Liberia Revenue Authority were found dead in a vehicle on Broad Street on 2nd October while another auditor died of a reported accident along the 72nd Boulevard.

Government, through the Ministry of Justice has called for an autopsy on the remains of the two LRA employees found dead in the car.
