Evelyn’s Restaurant Owner Died Of Kidney Failure Not COVID As Speculated

The tragic passing of the owner of Evelyn Restaurant, a popular restaurant, bar and grill in Sinkor left many shocked Monday evening in Monrovia and parts beyond.
There were huge speculations that Madam Hawa Ellen Knuckles had passed from COVID19 that is currently terrifying many in Liberia.
On Tuesday the management of the restaurant put out the following testament ‘The Knuckles Family and the Management of Evelyn’s Restaurant sincerely regret to announce the passing of Hawa-Ellen Knuckles.’
The statement continued ‘Hawa-Ellen passed away on Monday, July 5th, 2021 due to kidney failure at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Hospital.’
‘As a sign of respect for the Proprietress, Executive Chef and Founder of Evelyn’s Restaurant, Evelyn’s will be closed for the remainder of this week, and will reopen on Monday, July 12th,’ they maintained.
The family has also stated that funeral arrangements will be announced later.
