For Months Delay In Judges Salaries; Supreme Court Holds Finance Minister In Contempt

It’s a known fact that salaries have consistently delayed under the Weah’s led administration with serious attention now coming from the nation’s Judiciary.

In spite of a harmonization policy that since saw drastic reductions in salaries, the existing harmonized salaries barely come with the Supreme Court now red flagging the matter.

On today the court ordered the living body of Finance Minister Samuel Tweah arrested for what they called ‘Impeding Judiciary Function.’

The court said the action of not taking care of salaries and other arrears for atleast three months amount to contempt of the court and comes with consequences, atleast that sources confirmed to Whistleblower.

The court terms his action as creating constitutional crisis against the Judiciary.

Clerk of Court, Cllr. Sam Momolu has herewith instructed the Marshall of the Court to ensure the mandate of arrest and contempt are fully implemented.
