Two times Buchanan District representative candidate, Madam Elizabeth Barwon has descended on Senator Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence for acts inimical to the office of Senator.
Now based in the US, the former legislative candidate used her social media page to do a political analysis of the happenings in the county ahead of the Dec 8 senatorial midterm election, lashing at the Bassa senator.
When Nyonblee’s biggest campaign feat remains, a lone female senator that has championed issues for women on Capitol Hill and deserves women solidarity, Madam Barwon said the senator over the years has not supported women causes and remains a deceit for anyone to insinuate such.
‘I can remembered when I Elizabeth M. Barwon was fought and removed by Senator Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence as PMC chair, it was only Hon Mary Karwor who supported me and told Senator Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence that what she was doing was very wrong to fight another woman just like her for no reason, only because I was politically aligned to Hon Findley,’ she narrated.
The ex-representative candidate said Sen. Lawrence has a history of fighting females in Bassa and is not fit to have her mandate renewed this December.
She continued ‘Hon Karwor even though a CPP lawmaker, was never going to support Senator Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence because of Senator Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence history of fighting female politicians in the county.’
Her post developed enormous interest especially that she herself remains a staunch member of the opposition Collaborating Political Party (CPP) of four opposition parties, ANC, UP, ALP and LP.
Madam Elizabeth Barwon at the same time has endorsed the candidacy of Madam Magdalene Harris, another female contesting in Bassa.
According to Barwon, Madam Harris has been and continues to contribute immensely to the forward march of the county.
