‘I’m Authorized To Carry Firearm,’ Weah’s Aide On His Trending Photo

Prior to the General and Presidential Election, Sekou Kalasco Damaro was more of a businessman and closed ally to George Weah who came nothing closed to firearm training or know-how.

Years into Weah’s Presidency, all seem to have changed with his recent display of firearm in Lofa County, making a social media spin.

Kalasco was seen carrying a firearm while recording a live activity President George Weah toured Lofa county to a heroic turnout. This was on his fourth leg nationwide tour to interact with the ordinary people.

But Speaking on OK Morning Rush, Kalasco said it was out of no mistake that he was seen carrying firearm as he has been carrying arm since 2018.

He said he was fully trained and graduated as third best of his class at the Police Training Academy in Paynesville, outside Monrovia.

He sharply reacted to EFFL Leader Emmanuel Gonquoi who has called on citizens to carry firearm given the country is not safe when everyone seems to be displaying firearm. Gonquoi said himself will display firearm to protect himself.

Kalasco called the comments preposterous and said it isn’t possible with his proximity to the President to not be a trained handler of firearm.
