MediaAid Launches First Set Of Nine Media Related Text Books Friday

MediaAid Foundation will Friday, 5 March 2021 officially launch its first set of 9 media-related Textbooks at the YWCA Compound in Congo Town.

It is a researched Public Relations Guide entitled: Image Building, authored by Liberian Media Entrepreneur Titus Tokpah.

In a Press Statement issued on the eve of the launch, MediaAid says the event marks a great improvement for media education, and would further set the Peter Quaqua School of Journalism-PQSJ apart from other Journalism schools in Liberia.

The Image Building Guide is exclusively for all PQSJ Level 2 students including those reading Public Relations MasterClass Certificate Program and other Communication & PR students and experts, among others.

The launching ceremony, according to the Release, will be performed by Liberian Journalist Julius Kullie Kanubah, who’s currently on an International Research Study Tour in Liberia.

Journalist Kanubah is expected to raise the hope of young media practitioners, and lead calls for senior media experts to begin to put their experiences on papers that could be used as standard teaching materials in media schools in the country.

This latest Textbook covers several interesting topics in the field of Media Relations, including Pubic Relations Defined, Objectives of PR, Key Roles of PR Managers & Agencies, PR Skills,Advantages/Disadvantages of PR, Importance of PR, The Power of Public Opinion, Publics in PR, PR Code of Ethics/Conduct, PR, Journalism & Government, Tips for Press Release, Media Advisory & Factsheet, #Strategic Communication, Crisis, Cross Promotion, Marketing, Advertisment, PR Tools & Jargons.
