Mournful crowd gathers at Mobutu Nyenpan’s Bardnersville home as news breaks of his passing

Mobutu Nyenpan has finally passed, evident of loud cries and huge crowd gathering at Bardnersville residence mainly of family, onlookers and sympathizers.

Sources from both government and family have confirmed the passing of the Public Works Minister who was a champion of the government’s roads reconstruction and rehabilitation drive.

Nyenpan, a former Senator of Sinoe County served his people for almost a decade before being appointed as Public Works boss in 2018.

He suffered a massive stroke and was flown out to Accra, Ghana for care, where he remained till his death. He was 54.

The former Minister stayed in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and could not be resuscitated till his death.

His death comes to several officials of the Weah led administration who have to be flown abroad for health care as the nation’s health situation deteriorates.

Till press time, the government is yet to give an official announcement on the passing of it’s erudite reconstruction champion.

He is reported to have passed at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra early Thursday.
