The People’s Liberation Party says it will be embarking on series of health programs and activities as the rate of new strain of COVID virus rises.
The PLP in a widely circulated Sunday evening’s statement said the mobile clinic will be the institution’s way of making additional interventions in the health sector.
‘The PLP Mobile Clinic will be headed by professional nurses, physician assistants (PAs) and other volunteers, the statement said.’
Signed by the Party’s Leader, Dr. Daniel E. Cassell, the statement continued ‘Their focus will be helping our disadvantaged people, who cannot afford high medical costs as they are the vulnerable population.’
Dr. Cassell said his party will also make huge donations of medical supplies in the coming days, donating several supplies to hospitals and clinics to help address the current public health crisis in our nation.
‘We will be helping our disadvantaged people, who cannot afford high medical costs as they are the vulnerable population,’ he added.
Cassell’s health initiative comes at a time when the country is in dire need given the rate of death and hospitals being overcrowded with patients.
He recently made intervention in the transportation sector with the provision of several buses running between counties and within Monrovia and its suburbs.
He’s potentially running for the Presidency in 2023 against incumbent George Weah and a Collaboration of Political Parties that remain divided over who deals the ticket.
