Former Representative Candidate for Buchanan District Togar Alexander Bealded has spoken for the first time since a year after the crucial Legislative election.
Speaking to Ableejay Radio and TV recently the former candidate unraveled some plans he has for the district but wasn’t sure about a return.
Bealded named starting up a radio station, a free vocational school, an ambulance service and completion of previous unfinished projects remain core on his agenda.
Already Bealded’s Radio to be named and styled BUILD (Bealded United Initiative for Lasting Development) FM has already seen a massive solar installation worth over ten thousand USD.
He said despite moving abroad to begin school for his Master’s in Government with emphasis in Diplomacy and Conflict Studies, he remains committed to supporting changes including completing his first ever Muslim High School in the county amongst others.
Bealded said the previous election was marred by fraud, trucking and canoeing of voters and other vices but encouraged the Bassa people to remain committed to development and standing by one another in all times.
Bealded said it remains unfortunate that till date the county remains in darkness and lack of basic social services, including employment opportunities saying “Until we begin to take decisions void of inducement, only then will we move forward as a county and people.”
The former Legislative candidate and staunch media Executive at the same time frowned on some propaganda that hastened his failure and said lies and propaganda have got no space in our democracy.
All eyes remain on 2029 if Bealded will return to the electoral ballot!
