A few weeks after a complaint was reportedly filed at the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) against Minister of Commerce and Industry, Madam Magdalene Ellen Dagoseh, by former Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon. Maxwell Vah and Victor G. Flomo over alleged corruption, the minister has publicly responded to the claims.
In a statement shared on her official Facebook page, Minister Dagoseh clarified that she has received no formal communication from the LACC regarding any investigation and is unaware of being under investigation. She firmly denied any link to the corruption allegations circulating on social media.
“Good morning followers,” she wrote. “I wish to clarify that I have received no communication from the LACC regarding any investigation, and I am not aware of being under investigation. I am not linked to any corruption allegations as reported.”
The Commerce Minister emphasized that she remains fully focused on her responsibilities and continues to serve the people of Liberia with dedication. She further stated that should the LACC require her engagement, it would officially communicate with her office.
Minister Dagoseh concluded by assuring the public that she has no connection to the allegations being spread online, reiterating her commitment to transparency and public service.
