Monrovia, Liberia – July 1, 2025 — The Monrovia City Government has reportedly shut down a business establishment owned by Montserrado County District #8 Representative Prince Toles over allegations of unpaid municipal taxes.

The Smart Print Business Center, strategically located at the corner of Broad and Gurley Streets directly opposite the Raymond Building was sealed off earlier today by city authorities following claims that the business had failed to settle its municipal tax obligations for several months.

According to reports, the shutdown came after multiple notices were allegedly served to the business demanding payment, but no action was taken by the owners. The Monrovia City Government has maintained that it is intensifying efforts to enforce compliance among all business operators, regardless of status or affiliation.

The business, widely known for its printing and digital services, is believed to be owned and operated by Representative Prince Toles. However, there has been no official comment from Rep. Toles or his office regarding the allegations or the closure of the facility.

The action has sparked conversations among residents and observers about accountability and tax compliance, especially concerning public officials and their private ventures.
