Tentatively Dissolves All Leadership Positions; Appoints Karn B. Sherman as Convention Coordinator
The Coalition for Democratic Change – Council of Patriots (CDC-COP), Liberia’s foremost political civil rights movement, extends warm greetings to all Liberians, members, and supporters.
The National Executive Council is pleased to announce its collective decision to host a Special Convention this January in Sinje, Grand Cape Mount County, under the theme: ” Rallying the Nation Through Reboust Patriotic Actions for Liberia’s Redemption. ” This convention marks a historic milestone as we embark on the democratic election of a new leadership team—a first in the history of CDC-COP.
In the interest of fairness and transparency, all existing leadership positions have been dissolved. This bold step demonstrates our unwavering commitment to revitalizing the movement and advancing our shared vision of democracy, equity, and justice.
We invite all committed Patriots with strong moral standing and a dedication to service to seize this opportunity to contest and shape the future of our movement. Interested individuals are encouraged to register their candidacy through Patriot Karn B. Sherman, who has been appointed as the Special Convention Coordinator by the National Executive Council.
This convention represents more than an administrative transition—it is a defining moment for CDC-COP as we reaffirm our commitment to being a beacon of hope, progress, and resilience for the Liberian people. We call on all members and supporters to remain united, steadfast, and engaged as we move forward together.
